SPI Kitefest 2012

WHEN: Friday, Feb. 3, and Saturday, Feb. 4

WHERE: South Padre Island convention centre, 7355 Padre Blvd.

COST: Free (though some activites will require admission)

This award-winning kite festival will once again host kite-flyers from all over the country that want to come to our Island and enjoy a fun-filled weekend!

There will be kite giveaways, a silent auction, outdoor demonstrations by solo fliers and  kite-flying teams.

The indoor kite exhibition  is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at the SPI convention centre.

This event is free (there are some activities requiring admission) and promises to be a wonderful outdoor activity the whole family can enjoy.
